Operation Oceanus

In April 2019, the newly formed HASAR was deployed under Mutual Aid to the Ottawa area to assist with massive and destructive flooding. Ten members of HASAR attended for over a week to assist with sandbagging, property checks and general natural disaster preventative assistance. |
Operation SOTERIA

In March 2020, when many service groups had to shut down due to the SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, HASAR stood up to take up the Meals on Wheels program for Huron, Perth and South Bruce areas. According to One Care, the Meals on Wheels provider, HASAR was instrumental in 'saving' the program due to our efforts.

Operation SOTER

In December 2020, One Care again reached out to HASAR for volunteers to maintain its Meals on Wheels program throughout Huron County. From December until May 2021, HASAR provided drivers near weekly to assist and ensure the community was fed and cared for. |
Operation Serapus
|
In winter of 2021, HASAR was requested to assist with the vaccination clinics in Kincardine and Goderich. Members took part in the mass vaccination clinics to stem the COVID pandemic. |
OPERATION SOTERIA II

In January 2022, One Care again reached out to HASAR to assist with Meals on Wheels due to the 5th wave of COVID. |
Operation demeter

In winter of 2022, the first Canadian Humanitarian Work Team was deployed. This deployment was to Deer Lake First Nations due to the COVID outbreak in that community. HASAR sent two members to this initial deployment. |
