HASAR volunteers are trained and commit to the AdventureSmart program through its newly formed Community Education Platoon. Courses taught are:
- Hug-A-Tree
- Paddlesmart
- Snowmobiling
- Snow Safety & Education

Adventure Day

Winter of 2021 saw the first Adventure Day held outside Exeter, ON. Over 100 parents and youth attended to learn eight basic survival skills by rotating through skill stations. HASAR is committed to hosting several Adventure Day's throughout the year!

Our resident AdventureSmart expert, Spencer hosts multiple short segments on basic survival and skills needed to survive the first 24 hours until a youth is found. Sam has now taken the lead in 2024!
