Spencer WhitelawSpencer is an original member of HASAR and is the team’s AdventureSmart program coordinator. Spencer has worked in emergency services for nearly a decade and has been an avid community volunteer for twice as long.
Through his six years with HASAR, Spencer has delivered AdventureSmart presentations to over 4,000 children and adults, organized dozens of community outreach and fundraising events, stared in a short-lived YouTube series, and invested tens of thousands of dollars in outdoor equipment that he’ll realistically never use. Spencer has never listened to a podcast before and doesn’t really understand them. They seem like radio without the music, what’s the point in that? Nevertheless, for reasons unknown Spencer is still subconsciously seeking Patrick’s approval and therefore couldn’t say no when he approached him to be a part of his latest ADHD-driven endeavour.
